FC Bayern denies Italian press reports

On Monday morning, a range of Italian media published claims that FC Bayern has tabled an offer for Italian player Andrea Pirlo of Juventus. These claims were subsequently repeated by German media sources.

Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge commented: “FC Bayern has not made an offer to Juventus, nor has FC Bayern made contact with the player or his agent.“
